The BCA200 is a great interface for ADAT without the need for installing a PCI ADAT card, just use the BCA2000 USB 2.0 instead.īCA2000 also has a good MIDI interface, a audio limiter, a noise gate and good slider faders and pan controls, 2 separate headphone mix controls, and RCA audio connections. Plus optical and RCA SPDIF connections and 2 mic pre-amps to boot. The sound is very good, 24 bit converters and plenty of inputs to record and mix with and two headphone jacks.

And also great for backing up those ADAT SVHS tapes onto any computers' hard drive. I know this is an old thread but if you are still using Windows XP it is the fastest and easiest way to get the optical light-pipe ADAT 8 channels in/out of any computer desktop or laptop. And you have to run the latest XP driver from Behringer's website. Or they did not follow the installation procedure which is easy. I think people that have issues with it are using crappy USB adapters/cards. Including no issues with using the BCA2000 USB 2.0 connection. The Behringer BCA2000 works well with Windows XP, I have 3 computers all running XP and XP Pro with no problems.
